At Northwest, we’ve streamlined the admission process to help you get started quickly and easily. Please read the requirements for the MSN – Nurse Educator online, including what additional materials you need and where you should send them.
Admission Requirements:
- BSN degree from a regionally accredited institution
- GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale
- Nursing license, active and unencumbered
Required Documentation
To apply for the MSN – Nurse Educator program, you must have:
- An official undergraduate transcript from an accredited nursing program showing you have completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in BSN coursework
- An unencumbered United States issued Registered Nursing license
If you do not meet the above requirements, you may apply for conditional admission if you have an BSN degree with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 in BSN coursework. To receive full admission, you must earn a grade of B or higher in the first two MSN core courses or be subject to suspension for one calendar year.
