What do you want your students to take away from class?

• Gain factual financial management knowledge (definitions, terminology, classifications and methods)
• Explain and discuss fundamental financial management principles, generalizations, and theories
• Apply course material to improve rational financial thinking, problem-solving and decision-making
• Develop skills, competencies and points of view needed by professionals in all areas of business

Why did you start teaching?

There are many reasons why I love to teach. Each day gives me the opportunity to introduce my students to new ideas, spark their interest and inspire them to learn. This is a task and a privilege that I do not take lightly. There is no doubt that being an effective teacher is a lot of work, but the rewards reaped far outweigh the effort expended. Nothing is more gratifying than seeing a student excited about learning. It is a good feeling knowing that I can make a difference by providing students with tools that will help make them more knowledgeable and productive citizens.
