    More knowledge and experience in using Excel to help make financial decisions.

  • Why did you start teaching?

    I have always taught, either as a corporate computer trainer, high school business teacher or college instructor. I like to help students learn.

  • What advice would you give to your online students?

    Be proactive with your classes; look ahead and ask questions when you have them. When possible, use examples from your current work situation in your classes. For example, in an open-ended project, try to incorporate something you are interested in and really wanting to learn more about.

  • What qualities make someone particularly successful in the field in which you teach?

    Good analytical skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with others, the ability to learn new technology and to be a self-starter.

  • What is the one book you think everyone should read?

    Too many books to list! I like to read.

  • What do you do when you need a laugh?

    Have dinner with friends.
