A master’s degree in business administration (MBA) online at Northwest Missouri State University is very affordable. With an MBA, you can move into leadership positions by developing skills in strategic planning, quantitative analysis, finance, policy formulation, business ethics, global economics and more. There are three concentrations in the online MBA program:
- MBA in General Management.
- MBA in Human Resources Management.
- MBA in Marketing.
Each of the concentrations comprises 33 credit hours at $400 per credit hour with a required fee per course of $30. Each course is worth three credit hours, so the tuition cost per course is $1,230. For the entire online MBA program, tuition is just $13,530.
Tuition is the same for both in-state and out-of-state students. Students can complete any of the concentrations in 12 to 18 months.
Earn and Save as You Learn
Not only is tuition for a Northwest online MBA very affordable, but the program’s flexibility and convenience mean that you can continue to earn while you learn. You never have to be in a physical classroom at a specific time, yet you learn from the same outstanding faculty as on-campus students. You can keep your job and continue earning a salary while pursuing an MBA. There are no lost wages to worry about.
Full-time employees who go back to school on campus sometimes have to cut back on their hours at work. This is not the case with an online program.
An online program also saves students money in other ways. Driving to campus and back requires gas and maintenance on your car. Parking and public transportation cost money. Childcare is also a consideration.
With an online MBA program, some or all of these costs are eliminated. You do not have to travel to campus. While you may still need childcare so you can study, you can manage it more easily from home or enlist the support of family. You can plow these savings back into the educational costs of an online program.
